Jason Klobnak
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Jason Klobnak has been an active jazz trumpet player, clinician, and teacher in the Des Moines area for 10 years. Mr. Klobnak has many performance credentials including 4 performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival, and numerous mid-western jazz festivals and honor big bands. He has also performed with Bobby Watson, Maria Schneider, Bob Mintzer, Paul McKee, Ryan Kisor, Rob Parton, and Dick Oatts (to name a few). Mr. Klobnak is now living in the Denver area pursuing his Master's degree at the University of Denver's, Lamont School of Music. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Drake University and has studied trumpet with Al Hood, Andy Classen, and Craig Schwartz.
